What I really admire
about M&CSAATCHI is the simplicity they put in their designs. With their massive research they just get you to the point. You will always get their message no matter where you come from. They say it all in their philosophy and i quote "BRUTAL SIMPLICITY OF THOUGHT, it's easier to complicate than simplify. Simple ideas enter the brain quicker and stay longer. Brutal simplicity of thought is therefore a painful necessity." What I understood is that cruel but simple design is something very hard to make it takes time and a lot of creativity, and its what people want so they can get to the point very easily.
Website:
What I really love about their website is how simple it is. Its is easy to the eye, you can stream to it very easily. And I repeat they just get you to the point.
Their Work:
The simplicity and the story behind each ad.

Fifty years ago this year, Steve
McQueen famously jumped a fence on a motorcycle to escape the Nazi’s in the
film ‘The Great Escape’. It became one of the most memorable scenes in cinema
history, and to anyone associated with motorcycles, it is known that the stunt
was done on a Triumph TR6. So to celebrate this, we’ve created
an ad that recognises every motorcyclists want for the weekend – the need for
escape. What better way than to have our everyday ‘Steve McQueen’ escape
suburbia on Triumph’s modern day version of the TR6 – the Scrambler 900.

Located on the last prime piece of
real estate in Bangsar, Serai is BRDB’s most prestigious development in Bukit
Bandaraya. Featuring 121 private luxury residences with units ranging from
4,000 sq ft to a royal 14,000 sq ft, Serai marks one of BRDB’s most luxurious
and ambitious developments to date, a landmark residential icon that celebrates
their brand values of intelligent design, uplifting aesthetics and cosmopolitan
living.? To launch Serai, M&C Saatchi
created a campaign based on the proposition “Bangsar’s Crown Jewel”. In
conjunction with the launch, BRDB commissioned 3 celebrated artists to bring to
life their unique and distinctive interpretations of Bangsar and Serai. The
Serai Artists Series featured Jalaini Abu Hassan (painter), SC Shekar
(documentary photographer) and Dr. June Ngo (textile designer). The completed
works of the artists can be viewed at the BRDB Sales Gallery in Bangsar and
will ultimately grace the hallways of Serai.? M&C Saatchi orchestrated a
campaign comprising of print, outdoor, supporting collaterals, identities,
direct mailers and promotional film materials. Launched in early December 2012
at the BRDB Sales Gallery in Bangsar, the Serai launch was further enhanced
with a special 20 page pull-out section published in The Edge.

M&C Saatchi has launched a much
talked about campaign for Stockholm Art Week. The app enables everyone in
Stockholm to join a new art movement and co-create a work of art that will be
presented at the end of the week. The application captures your movements on a
map of Stockholm using GPS, and transfers this to an artist who will paint the
movements on a real canvas. Your ‘art walk’ becomes a brush stroke on the
co-created art piece. People can then visit www.stockholmisyourcanvas.com
and see how their brush stroke - and the whole canvas - comes to life through a
live streamed link to the artist's studio in Stockholm. The finished canvas will be
presented at the Stockholm Art Week closing party on 17 February and will be
put up for auction online. Surplus funds raised will be donated to community
art projects.
